Our search begins for a Professional Development and Content Specialist to onboard and support teachers and students in schools and school districts from across the country!
We are looking for a Professional Development and Content Specialist focused on providing exceptional professional development and support for teachers and school and district staff to assist with the successful implementation of our legendary games in the classroom. In addition to providing training and implementation support, the Professional Development and Content Specialist will be involved in content work to support and improve game alignment and content across the platform.
If you like to lead traditional, instructor-focused training sessions that never deviate from the script, this job is probably not for you.

Legends of Learning has been a big hit in thousands of schools across the country, and we are now looking to add a Professional Development and Content Specialist to support teachers in implementing the games in their classrooms and keep them coming back for more!
Duties and Responsibilities
- The Professional Development and Content Specialist will report to the VP of Partner Success with additional duties assigned from the Director for Curriculum and Academics.
- Professional Development Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead live webinars or onsite training sessions for schools and districts that have purchased a license for Legends of Learning.
- Create customized training sessions as requested by district leaders.
- Assist with general onboarding tasks such as rostering of students and teacher account creation.
- Participate in quarterly implementation meetings with sales and account management team members, along with district contacts, to ensure successful implementation of product(s) across the district.
- Create and send post-implementation communications for teachers, principals, and district personnel.
- During weekly scheduled shifts, use our online customer support platform to help teachers troubleshoot with technological issues or site questions.
- Work as the liaison between the engineering team and teachers by submitting bug reports and promoting feature requests that meet the needs of the classroom teacher.
- Other duties as assigned by the VP of Partner Success.
- Content Duties and Responsibilities
- Deploy new state standard alignments for our math and science games.
- Improve existing state standard alignments.
- Review game and assessment content for accuracy.
- Develop instructional content for distribution among district partners.
- Create assessment items for use within our platform.
- Create standards-aligned, hands-on lesson plans.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director for Curriculum and Academics.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Required – At least 3 years of experience as a math or science classroom teacher. Candidates with elementary or middle school math or science classroom experience are preferred candidates.
- Required – Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education.
- Required – Strong knowledge of math and/or science curriculum standards at a national and/or state level.
- Highly Preferred – Experience leading professional development for school or district staff.
- Highly Preferred – 1-2 years of customer service or training experience (experience in any customer service setting acceptable).
- Preferred – Experience writing math or science curriculum for teachers.

Location:
This is a remote position. Occasional travel will be required for company-hosted events, conferences, and onsite professional development.
Compensation:
$50,000-$60,000 annually, based on experience, plus employee stock options
Working Hours:
Full time, salaried position
M-F, 40 hours per week
- Working hours vary based on webinar needs. Most days, employees need to be available during normal business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET)
