Concepts Covered

Use place value knowledge of 10’s to be able to decompose a two-digit 10’s number with 0 ones into a digit times 10. When multiplying a single digit by a multiple of 10 it can be interpreted as a group of tens. Apply the Associative property to interpret groups of 10’s as a product. Fluent use of single-digit multiplication is essential.
