Whole Number Multistep Word Problems Math Games

In this series of games, your students will learn to multiply or divide to solve multi-step word problems posed with whole numbers and having whole-number answers using the four operations. The Whole Number Multistep Word Problems learning objective — based on CCSS and state standards — delivers improved student engagement and academic performance in your classroom, as demonstrated by research. Concepts Covered

Interpret remainders from division problems. The interpretation of the remainder can yield a different answer than the whole number quotient. Some problems can be represented with a single equation. Compare quantities multiplicatively. Unknown products, group size unknown, and the number of groups unknown are a part of various problems. Solve multi-step word problems posed with whole numbers and having whole-number answers (no remainder). Solve multi-step word problems posed with whole numbers and having whole-number answers (interpreting remainder). All numbers used are whole numbers.
