After three years of using Legends of Learning, Karessa Slavens from Dayton ISD is a true legend! She loves using the platform as both an introduction to new topics as well as a review once topics have been covered. Her students love playing and regularly “ask to login if they finish their other work early”!
In her classroom, the greatest impact Legends of Learning has had on student learning is increasing interest in the material: “The games make the learning process much more fun for them”. When students are learning through games, they “become more interested in learning the material”.

Jaclyn Cruz
Jaclyn started using Legends of Learning in 2018, and has since become a science superhero! Super Cruz uses Legends as a supplementary activity and as an assignment for students that finish their work before others.
A particular subject that Jaclyn’s class was struggling with was the water cycle. To help her students, Super Cruz “worked with a small group on LOL with content that was specific to the water cycle”. Upon completing the activities, “students said that they felt more confident about the water cycle”.
