Sun, Earth, and the Solar System Science Games

In this series of games, your students will learn to make observations relating the Sun’s position to daylight and temperature. The Sun, Earth, and the Solar System learning objective — based on NGSS and state standards — delivers improved student engagement and academic performance in your classroom, as demonstrated by research.

Concepts Covered

Use observations of the Sun, Moon, and stars to describe patterns that can be predicted. Make observations at different times of year to relate the amount of daylight to the time of year. Know that the entire Earth cannot be lit by the Sun at the same time and the reasons why.
