Concepts Covered

Use and share observations of local weather conditions to describe patterns over time. Measure, record, and graph weather information, including temperature, wind conditions, precipitation, and cloud coverage, in order to identify patterns in the data. Know weather instruments. Record weather information, including relative temperature such as hot or cold, clear or cloudy, calm or windy, and rainy or icy. Identify the importance of weather and seasonal information to make choices in clothing, activities, and transportation.
